Lake Zurich Rotary Goes Bowling for Scholarships

There’s still time to Roll with Rotary, Lake Zurich Rotary Club’s third annual fundraiser for its Rotary scholarships benefitting Lake Zurich High School seniors.

“This fun night of bowling supports the six scholarships the Lake Zurich Rotary Club gives each year, for both college-bound students and those heading for vocational schools and community colleges,”  said Lake Zurich Rotary Club president Nancy Shepherdson.  “A record number of outstanding students applied for the scholarships this year and we hope to expand the program next year if enough people support it.”

The fun begins at 6 p.m. until 10 Friday May 31 at Brunswick Bowl on Rt 12 in Deer Park. A tax-deductible donation of $35 entitles each person to a buffet dinner, bowling shoes and three games. There will also be a gift raffle of more than a dozen prizes, including a golf foursome at Kemper Lakes golf course and a Coach purse.

And there will be prizes for best – and worst – bowlers. Teams of four to six are recommended but individuals and couples can also register.  You do not have to bowl in order to attend or have dinner.  Register at http://lakezurichrotaryclub.eventbrite.com.  For more information contact lzrotary@gmail.com.
