Purple Polar Plunge 2014; Freezin' For A Reason

The PURPLE POLAR PLUNGE is a community event where participants can register to wade in or take the full plunge into the freezing cold water of Lake Zurich. Each participant can collect pledges and form a team to take the plunge together. The PURPLE POLAR PLUNGE is to be a fun family event where participants can wear costumes, carry signs, and just be silly as spectators cheer on the brave plungers.

All funds raised will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Lake Zurich/Wauconda/Island Lake. American Cancer Society supports research to find a cure for cancer along with provide accommodations, transportation, free services, and support to those with cancer and their caregivers.

March 15th at Breezewald Park and Beech.
$10 Registration Fee + Pledges & Donations
