JCYS Annual Pancake Breakfast & Open House

Families are invited to try out all that Camp Henry Horner and Camp Red Leaf have to offer during their annual Pancake Breakfast & Open House on Sunday, April 27 from 9 am - 2 pm.  With a high ropes course and zipline, boating and lake activities, tractor rides, and games and crafts, this kid-friendly event will allow you to explore all of Jewish Council for Youth Services' 180 acres in the northwest suburbs.

Sharing a campus, Camp Henry Horner offers day and overnight summer camp for children going into Kindergarten through 10th Grade, while Camp Red Leaf is specially designed for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral needs.  Both programs are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), and Camp Red Leaf is the only ACA-accredited camp serving both children and adults with disabilities in metropolitan Chicago.  Prospective families have free roam of the entire campus, including a visit to the overnight accommodations for both groups and wheelchair accessible tree house that allows camping adventures for all.

Camp counselors will be serving a pancake breakfast throughout the morning, and a spring bazaar with local vendors donating a portion of their proceeds will complete the day.
