Raptor in Flight

Please Note Revised Time!

Join us at the Citizens for Conservation-owned Flint Creek Savanna where we will hike around the tranquil snow-covered prairie while stopping to view and learn about raptors and see a raptor in free flight under the professional guidance of Dawn Keller from Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation.  Afterwards, we will have hot chocolate and the opportunity to speak with Dawn Keller about her incredible work with raptors.  Please bring shoe boxes, old towels (no loose threads), paper towels, bleach wipes, and old blankets as these items and all class fees will be donated to Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation.  Let’s beat last year’s donation of $300!

This class is held outside, includes walking in the snow, and is open to children ages 5 and older. Caregivers are required to attend. Please dress appropriately for the weather with hats, gloves, and boots. Class will be cancelled in case of inclement weather or if wind chills exist.
