The Lake County Regional Planning Commission will discuss the Dimucci family request for a rezoning from residential to commercial with a planned unit development (PUD) at their property on Rte. 12 and Old McHenry Road.

 Monday, 7 p.m., Lake Zurich village hall

Lake Zurich Village board will hold a special meeting to review a proposal for a major renovation project at Paulus Park. The discussion of the Paulus Park plan is scheduled after an executive session to discuss the sale, lease or acquisition of property, according to the agenda.

A downtown development presentation, originally planned for the agenda, has been moved to late July.

 

Tuesday, June 26, 7 p.m., Ela Area Public Library 

Meet Catherine Jinks author of the new book Paradise Trap, as well many other books for tweens and teens including The Evil Genius series, The Reformed Vampire Support Group, and Living Hell. She will be both speaking and signing books. Books will be available for purchase at the event through Lake Forest Book Store.
