Waste Management Picks Up Christmas Trees
Residents can also bring Christmas trees to a local forest preserve for recycling.
Waste Management will be collecting Christmas trees in Lake Zurich through Jan. 12, according to the village website. Residents should place trees out with the garbage, tinsel removed and not in any type of bag on the normal garbage pick up day.
Residents can also turn their trees into a Lake County Forest Preserve trail. Numerous area forest preserves are accepting tree drop offs.
