South Barrington Christmas Light Show Dazzles Visitors

Holiday revelers travel from afar to see the snychronized music and light display.

Looking for some good Christmas light viewing this holiday season? Head to South Barrington for an audio visual delight.

The Incledon family invites you to watch and hear their computer-controlled light show from the comfort of your car. The show is synchronized to music and features a twenty foot, 10,000-light mega tree, dancing candy canes, tin soldiers and Santa with his reindeer.

Pull up in front of the house, turn your radio dial to 89.9 and let the show begin!

"I've always been somewhat of a techie," says James Incledon, a former IT manager for AT&T. "Our light show started in 2007 when we lived in Lake in the Hills.  The following year, with our new controller, we won the village's Griswold Award for Holiday Lights.  We moved to Barrington and with more land we continue to add displays each year."

Incledon plans, programs and wires the entire display by himself -- with a little help from wife Anna, and daughters, fourth-grader Mia and second- grader Eliza. Younger son, Parker, will be enlisted for light duty soon.
