Our area is forecast to receive another dusting of snow this afternoon and tonight.
The National Weather Service office in Chicago says Lake Zurich should expect snow to start after 3 p.m., with a total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch.
More snow — around an inch — is expected to fall before midnight. The precipitation is then expected to become a mix of snow and freezing drizzle, with little or no ice accumulation anticipated.
The National Weather Service said there is also a chance of snow and freezing drizzle before noon tomorrow.
