We asked Barrington and Lake Zurich Patch readers to nominate their favorite hair salon for this week's Readers Choice and we received loads of nominations.

Now it's time to vote in our poll and/or review the salon in the Patch listing, which you can access by clicking the name of the salon above.
Please note a change (outlined in the PDF at right) to way winners will be named. A point system will be used to score the contenders, which will be judged based on votes as well as on ratings in our business directory, Patch Places. In the event of a tie, the salon with the most positive comments on its listing and on this story will be declared the champion.
Votes (one per person, per day, please), ratings and reviews left before 5 p.m. Friday will be counted toward this week's totals. We'll announce the champion on Saturday morning.

Maybe you knew this-or maybe you didn't but obviously 360 and coccole have a history and that's in the past. Both are great salons with a loyal fan base. Just like some prefer Pepsi and others Coca-Cola-or McDonalds to Burger King or Caribou Coffee to Starbucks. Competition is healthy and it's what makes our country (and town) great!! So how about this-if you love one over the other-just VOTE for that one and save the nasty comments. If you are on Team Coccole you won't be joining Team 360 and you can't change the other side's mind. If you are on Team 360 you won't be joining Team Coccole and you can't change the other side's mind. Be nice people!
These comments are hilarious!!! Each one reads like the old Miller Lite "Less filling!", "Tastes Great!" ads. It's a haircut, folks... not a turf war.
