Local Authors Host Free Program at Ela Public Library

Ela Area Public Library District will host local authors Eileen Gold Kushner and Kathy Young for a free program in the auditorium at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. They will discuss their book, Smart On The Inside- A True Story About Succeeding In Spite of Learning Disabilities. The library is located at 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich, Illinois 60047. Eileen Gold Kushner will share her inspirational story of overcoming learning disabilities and discovering her inner talents to become the owner/operator of three Chicago area McDonald’s restaurants. Kushner co-authored the book Smart on the Inside with Kathy Young, a special education teacher. They will discuss how parents and teachers can encourage children who learn differently to believe in themselves and succeed with perseverance.
