The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for counties close to Lake Michigan.
Snow showers are expected to drop one to three inches of snow across our area today.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Lake and DuPage Counties that will end at 6 p.m. Two to four inches of snow is expected.
The winter weather advisory in Cook and Will Counties will expire at 9 p.m.
The temperature is expected to drop to around 21 degrees by 5 p.m., and winds could gust as high as 30 miles per hour.
