Lake County: Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect Until 7 p.m.
Storms blanket 30-county area.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Lake County and 29 other counties until 7 p.m.
According to the NWS, clusters of thunderstorms are moving eastward across north central and northeast Illinois throughout the early afternoon.
