Honey Lake, Route 12 Traffic Signals Activate Today
Leave extra commuting time for transition.
The traffic signals at Honey Lake Road and Rand Road are scheduled to start working today.
Village Trustee Jonathon Sprawka noted that commuters may want to leave a little earlier this morning as the new traffic lights may cause confusion.
The traffic signal was identified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) as necessary due to a history of accidents at the intersection.
