Saturday, Sept. 8, 12-4 p.m., Lake Zurich
This fundraiser will raise funds for Ricky who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or soft tissue. Now at the age of five, he is dealing with aggressive chemo treatments and the removal of the tumor. They will be auctioning an official football signed by Chicago Bear #54 Brian Urlacher, two 2012-2013 tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks game, an autographed Chicago Blackhawks Sami Lepisto picture, autographed Chicago Blackhawks Steve Montador puck and hopefully much more!

Saturday, Sept. 8, 1to 5 p.m., 150 W. Bonner Road, Wauconda
Experience Waldorf education in a festival atmosphere. Guests will also enjoy free popcorn and snow cones, live music from Dog One, one of the hottest bluegrass bands in Chicago, a bubble show, and much more. Bulldogs Grill of Wauconda will be on hand selling their delicious fare. Admission and activities for the whole family are free.
Saturday, Sept. 8, Oak Knoll Rd., Barrington Hills
Take a tour of this tallgrass prairie restoration with grasses sporting fall colors and asters, goldenrods and gentians in full bloom. Come for refreshments and a one-hour tour.
Sunday, Sept. 9, St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church St., Lake Zurich
Rally Day begins with Sunday School for all ages at 9 a.m. Traditional Family worship will begin at 10 a.m.
After the worship service, a time of fun and fellowship will be held. Carnival-type games and fun will be held on the front lawn and the Congregational Life Committee will be hosting a lunch in Fellowship Hall.
