Next meeting is Monday, June 18.

Do you have an interest in genealogy? Join Genealogy Interest Group (GIG), and discover that adding another branch to your family tree has never been easier.  Check the library’s website for specific monthly topics. July’s meeting’s topic is “Finding your English Ancestors: The Big Four.” Genealogist and lecturer Paul Milner, a native of Northern England and professional genealogist will discuss how to examine available indexes and how to access and interpret the four primary records groups for English research: civil registration, census, church records and probate.

No registration is required and newcomers are always welcome. For more information, contact librarian Carol Bartlett at (847) 438-3433 x 215 or stop by the Library’s Information Desk.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
