Donate Family Treasures to Ela Historical Society

Lake Zurich museum is seeking acquisitions.

Looking for a home for your parents' or grandparents' treasures?

The is seeking new acquisitions to put on display. 

"We're looking for new pieces, such as furniture, mementos. We have more room on the second floor to display them," said Coral Lee Scranton, Ela Historical Society director.

The Ela Historical Society will also be hosting a special exhibit on the Palatine, Lake Zurich and Wauconda Railroad during Alpine Fest, July 20-22.

The Ela Historical Society and Museum is open every Thursday and the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Historical Society is also open the third Sunday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m.
