Caregiver Support Series Presented at the Ela Library

Education series focuses on dementia, memory loss and Alzheimer's disease.

 

The Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will present an Alzheimer’s caregiver education series at the Ela Area Public Library this fall. The series is intended for family members and friends of people with memory loss. Learning to Connect: Relating to the Person with Alzheimer’s Disease – Wednesday, October 17 at 6:30-8 p.m. Discover insight into dementia and its effect on communication and behavior. Participants will learn techniques that can be used to make time spent more meaningful for all concerned. Light dinner served.

The Basics:  Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease – Thursday, November 8 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Silverado Senior Living, Lake Zurich. This class will offer participants important information on these topics. Light lunch will be served. Register: 847-307-6990.
