'Bringing Back the Past' Answer Revealed

Did you guess the name of the dance hall in the photo?

Yesterday, we asked you to name the dance hall in the photo.

The dance hall was located on West Main Street. It had a wooden dance floor across from the lake front, so people could enjoy a view of the lake while they danced.

The property was purchased by the Olshefsky's, who built a luncheonette in 1939. Ron Frank, vice president of the Ela Historical Society and Museum, said people could enjoy ice cream and sandwiches there.

So what was the name of this dance hall? Fitzgerald's.
