Alpine Runners, CLC Sponsor Lake Zurich’s 4th of July Celebration

Lake Zurich Parks and Recreation Department is still accepting sponsors for Independence Day festivities.

The Alpine Runners donated $1000 to Lake Zurich’s Independence Day celebration and the College of Lake County Southlake Campus donated $500.

Sponsorships help fund the bands and other activities at the annual event, which will be held at , Wednesday, July 4, starting at 9 a.m. and continuing through the evening fireworks.

Parks director Mike Perkins said the village has been accepting sponsorships in recent years to help offset the cost of the celebration.  There are various levels of sponsorship as well as many perks—banners, tickets—to becoming a sponsor.

Information for sponsorship is available on the village website.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
