Lake Zurich Rotary Club starts Children's Book Drive

The Rotary Club of Lake Zurich is announcing its newest community service project.  In an effort to help bring books to those children and families that may not have access to as many books as they would like, the club will be collecting donations of used or new children's books at the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce Expo  March 16th, 9am-3pm @ Lake Zurich High School, 300 Church Street, Lake Zurich, IL.

We are working in conjunction with St. Francis De Sales Parish to distribute books to those in need. Access to books is a key factor in developing good skills in school and life.

Please stop by Booth #49 to learn more about our community service projects and "Donate A Book" to a child in need.

If you are unable to drop off books at the Expo, please go to our website and email any officer to arrange a drop off.

If you are interested to learn more about the Lake Zurich Rotary Club, we meet each Friday at Hackney’s in Lake Zurich at 12:15.  Please stop by as our
guest for lunch and learn about Rotary International and your local club.

Many of our meetings feature a guest speaker for a short presentation.  On
March 8th, we have, Brian Daly, CPA  for a talk on Tax Season Tips and Advice.

Jim, we're sorry if you had trouble getting to the Paulus lot. Additional parking was availableRead More across the street in the former Kmart lot. We've been working with the police to make sure people know where they can park if the Pualus lot is full, and we're getting some signs to direct people to the alternate parking. Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
