Former Major League Umpire to speak at Lake Zurich Rotary Friday

Author and former Major League Baseball Umpire Dick Cavenaugh is stopping by the Lake Zurich Rotary Club this coming Friday to speak about his latest book – Just About- But Not Quite - A collection of true life experiences he has had, covering humorous and exciting situations and encounters with a host of well known people.  The stories are straight from the heart and are entertaining as you delve into one mans diverse and interesting life.  Everyone can appreciate a person’s pursuit of their own dreams and where that pursuit may take them.  While his umpiring days are a part of the story – much more of a journey is told. Take a break and come to enjoy a review of a delightful book. It is sure to stir your own memories and thoughts.
