The MC Sports, located at 727 W. Main St., is expected to close in January after 14 years of business in Lake Zurich, according to the Daily Herald.
Employees of the store were learned of the closure last weekend and the store's assistant manager Shawn Jarzembowski told the Daily Herald that MC Sports had lost its lease, according to the article.
The Daily Herald reports MC Sports last day is not known and sales will be taking place until the athletic store closes. MC Sports also has locations in Wheaton, DeKalb and North Aurora.
