Lake Zurich RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest Ranked Among Top Brokerages

One-Third of RE/MAX Offices in Northern Illinois real estate market recognized in two national rankings of top residential brokerages.

, which has a Lake Zurich office, was one of 14 RE/MAX brokerages in the northern  Illinois region that have been highlighted in the two most widely recognized national rankings of real estate brokerages: the REAL Trends 500, compiled by REAL Trends magazine, and the Power Broker Report, developed by RISMedia. As a group, the offices included in these national rankings represent one-third of all the offices in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estatenetwork.

REAL Trends ranks the top 500 firms across the nation by closed transaction sides and closed sales volume for the previous year. It also recognizes all brokerage firms that close at least 500 transaction sides during the previous calendar year. The Power Broker Report identifies the nation’s 1,000 most productive real estate firms based on closed transactions and closed sales volume during the prior year.

In both the 2012 REAL Trends 500 and the RISMedia Power Broker surveys, RE/MAX agents continue to be the clear leaders across the nation in agent productivity. RE/MAX brokerages claimed a dominant 44 of the Top 50 brokerages when ranked by transaction sides per agent in the REAL Trends 500. The survey also showed that RE/MAX agents in the offices surveyed averaged 15.1 transaction sides in 2011, an improvement of 4 percent from the previous survey and a level two times greater than the average of agents with most other national franchises.

RE/MAX increased the number of its ranked brokerages in the REAL Trends 500 by 5 percent in the 2012 survey; no other organization had more brokerages recognized. RE/MAX agents also led all national franchises by averaging $3 million in sales volume, 60 percent more than the average of all other agents in the survey.

The RISMedia Power Broker Report confirmed that RE/MAX agents outperform agents with the other national franchise companies, with an average of 15.1 sides per agent and average sales volume of $3.2 million. RE/MAX sides per agent in the Power Broker Report were 21 percent higher than those of the closest national competitor. The average of all other agents in the report was 7.2.
