Two Lake Zurich companies were among the 5000 fastest growing companies in the country, according to Inc.
Paragon Micro at 2 Corporate Drive Suite 105, Lake Zurich, was number 432 on the list. Paragon Micro provides IT computing products, software, and advanced IT services to help companies around the world enable, mange and secure their IT environments.
Koffler Sales, 785 Oakwood Road Suite C-100, Lake Zurich, came in at 1,277. Koffler Sales provides an e-commerce site that represents over 40,000 individual items for floor and wall protection as well as hardware. Supplies items such as corner guards, molding, chair rails for commercial use, hand rails and more. Carries non-skid/non-slip safety tape, reflective tape and hazard marking tape.
In Long Grove, OMI Industries made the list at 2,796. It manufactures eco-friendly chemicals and natural odor eliminators for industrial, commercial and residential consumers. Its formulas use natural plant oils to break down organic and inorganic compounds. Its products are used by refineries, landfills, composting facilities, paper manufactures, municipal water treatment centers and major corporations, including ExxonMobil, Disney and Hertz.
According to Inc., America’s fastest growers span 25 industries, all 50 states, and metro areas ranging from Boston to San Diego. New York City had the most honorees, with 350--three more than runner-up Washington, D.C. While nearly half the winners had revenues between $2 million and $10 million, more than 50 took in over $1 billion.
