Ela Library Program on Job Searching Using the Web

Job Center of Lake County holds demonstration on Feb. 15.

 

Eve Locke from the Job Center of Lake County will provide a demonstration of job hunting websites such as Illinois workNet, Indeed and Illinois Job Link at the Ela Area Public Library on Friday, Feb. 15 from noon-1:30 p.m.  

Learn how to maximize your time spent on the computer in your job search by targeting companies and enlisting the help of job alerts and search agents. A free lunch will be served. 

Registration is limited to Ela Library patrons and Chamber of Commerce members. To register, please call the Library at 847/438-3433, sign up online at www.eapl.org or email infodesk@eapl.org.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
