Avalon Salon Celebrating 10th Anniversary Today
The salon is offering free services, games and more to visitors.
Avalon, a salon located in Deer Park, is celebrating its 10th anniversary today with a fun-filled day of events.
From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., visitors can stop by the salon, located at 20530 N. Rand Road Suite 346, to enjoy free services, food, games and music from a dj. Big announcements are expected to be made around 1 p.m.
“We love and support this community and have enjoyed our last decade of growth," Bonnie Conte, co-owner, said of the salon, which was awarded 2011 Business of the Year by the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce. "It has been a privilege to bring wellness and beauty to Deer Park. We look forward to celebrating with our clients, our staff and with the community as we embark on our next journey to deliver world-class service!"
Visitors are encouraged to bring lightly-used clothing for the WINGS resale shop in Palatine, along with non-perishable food items for a local food pantry in Lake Zurich.
