Zesty Little Nacho Is Waiting for You!

Howdy! I’m Nacho, and I am one lucky little fella! I’m funny and friendly, and my favorite thing in the world is working for a snack. I will do anything for a treat! I am a very typical Chihuahua, and I love my people and am very eager to show you just how much I love you.

I was surrendered to animal control as part of a hoarding case with dozens of other Chihuahuas! I watched all the other Chihuahuas go to other rescues and shelters, but I was 8-10 years old, so I kept getting passed over. The day Young at Heart Pet Rescue came to the animal control I was at, the shelter manager couldn’t promise me much more time. So, despite not having any room left at the “inn,” Young at Heart rescued me that day. Woohoo!

I am a healthy guy, and have just been neutered and had my teeth cleaned. I’m crate-trained and appear to be housebroken, though I am in a kennel until a foster home opens up, so it’s a little hard for the rescue to tell yet. I am VERY food-motivated, and could probably learn just about anything in exchange for a treat! I’m learning how to walk on a leash very well.

I’m a very sweet little guy, and love to be held and love to be near you. After living and scrapping for attention, food, and anything else in my former home, I would be happiest as the only dog where I don’t have to worry about sharing anymore.

I’m healthy and neutered, up-to-date on my vaccinations, and microchipped. My adoption fee of $165 allows Young at Heart Pet Rescue to help other older dogs and cats like me get a second chance at a happily ever after.
