The Lake Zurich High School Bears are ranked 12th in the state by USA Today Sports.

The Bears begin practicing this week, on Wednesday, Aug. 14 with the first game scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 against Fremd High School at Fremd, 1000 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.
Lake Zurich Quarterback Club will be holding the Bear Paw Painting on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the high school, 300 Church Street, Lake Zurich.

The club is also has a Blue Seat Special where first row seating is available for $60. The seats are almost sold out and can be purchased on the club’s website.
