If you never heard the Beatles in person in the ‘60’s, it is not too late. American English, the top Beatles tribute band in the country, will be in our area for just one night, Friday, October 25. The experience includes the classic early Beatles, a Magical Mystery tour and a trip to Abbey Road.
American English will be sounding spookily like the Beatles at the Lake Zurich Rotary Halloween Bash that night at the Lake Barrington Field House,28156 W. NorthPointe Parkway (near The Onion), Lake Barrington.
Cost is $20 with proceeds benefitting Rotary scholarships for Lake Zurich High School Students, the Lake Zurich Food Pantry and Special Olympics. The Club will also contribute to Rotary International’s effort to end polio worldwide. It is endemic in just three countries now.

Festivities also include raffles, silent auction and a costume contest. Top prize in the contest is $500. Costumes are optional but this is a chance to really live the 1960’s. Food, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available.
