Music On Stage Presents Tony® Award-winning Musical 'Avenue Q'

Music On Stage, winner of the Illinois Theatre Association’s Excellence in Theatre award, presents the Chicago premiere of the Tony® Award-winning musical “AVENUE Q”! Performances of the long-running Broadway hit that features engaging puppet characters, will be for three weekends from June 2 – 17 at Palatine’s Cutting Hall.

“AVENUE Q” is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. It is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named, Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie Monster (the internet ‘sexpert’), Lucy the Slut (need we say more?), and other colorful types who help Princeton finally discover his true purpose in life. “AVENUE Q” was the winner of the Tony “triple crown” for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book.

Tickets are currently on sale through the Cutting Hall Box Office, 150 E. Wood Street in Palatine: 847-202-5222, or online by visiting musiconstage.org. Advance ticket sales are $20 for reserved seating, while ‘Silver Citizens' (age 62 & over) are $17 and children (12 & under) are $18. Add $2 if purchased at the door. Groups of 10 or more pay $17 a ticket. A Dinner Package is also available for only $17 added on to your ticket price in conjunction with Vince's Italian Restaurant in Palatine.
