Sweet, Shy Chad Hopes The Third Time’s A Charm

Quiet, independent cat seeks like-minded human.

Hi, everybody! I’m Chad, a cool cat who’s known not only one great life but two.

I had a terrific home with a loving owner until my owner passed away, and I ended up at shelter. Young At Heart Pet Rescue took me in, and as luck would have it, I was quickly adopted by a very nice lady. We lived happily together until she was admitted to a nursing home, and so here I am, back at Young at Heart, once again looking for that special someone to call my own.

I’m a male domestic short-hair, somewhere around 5 or 6 years old, with a bit of an independent streak. I’m a great companion for someone who wants a buddy, but not one who is too needy. I enjoy company – and sometimes a little lap time – but mostly I’m just happy to hang around close by.

I’m a quiet fellow myself with great litter box manners. In the past, I lived with some nice, quiet dogs who were used to having a feline around. I could get used to that again. I also do fine with my feline roommates at Young at Heart’s adoption center at the , but if they get grumpy with me, I head for the hills and hide until they cool down. So even though I’m a youngster by Young at Heart’s standards, I’m kind of an old soul who really would prefer a quiet home with someone who is ready to love me forever.

I’m neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, and microchipped, and my blood test results say I’m doing just fine. I’m so ready for a new home – one that finally lasts forever. Fill out an adoption application today so we can be each other’s lifelong charm.
