Public Art Project to be Unveiled in Lake Zurich

A 40- foot mural project by the Lake Zurich High School Fine Arts Department will be installed at Paulus Park.

A public art project between the visual arts team at Lake Zurich High School Fine Arts department and the village will be installed on an exterior wall of the barn at Paulus Park.

The project is a 40-foot mural consisting of 29 separate panels. Lake

Zurich High School’s AP Studio Art class and the high school’s visual arts staff designed and hand painted it during the 2012-2013 school year, according to a press release.

The mural will be unveiled during a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at Paulus Park. Community Unit School District 95, the high school visual arts team and the Village of Lake Zurich will host a small reception for these AP Studio Art class students and their families at the
