Prudential Visions Agents Give Back at Emmaus House Dinner

Volunteers help those struggling with poverty.

Once again the team at Prudential Visions Realty served dinner at the Emmaus House of Hospitality for those in need in the Cuba Township area, April 28.

This event takes place every Sunday night in the basement of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church as those who wish to share a meal and friendship join with a group of volunteers. Attendees can take home food at the end of the meal as well.

“This is a great opportunity for us to focus on a community need,” said Jen Ortman, broker/owner of Prudential Visions. “We live and work in the Lake Zurich area so we know there are people who are struggling with poverty. We want to give back to an area that has given us so much.”

Agents from the Barrington office, along with clients and family members, participated in the event. They have collected cash donations, cans of food and fresh fruit and have prepared a chicken dinner. Volunteers were out in force to serve to make a small difference in people’s lives.
