Why Go?: View the creations of award-winning artist Bernard Williams. He illustrates the complexities of American culture and history in sculptures and paintings.

Where/When: College of Lake County - Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St.; 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 12. 

Why Go?: A special performance of the spoken word in poetry to celebrate Black History Month.

6. Bikerman and the Jewish Avenger: Love Hurts...A Lot!

Where/When: Metropolis Performing Arts Center; 111 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights; 10 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, 

Why Go?: This live professional theatrical performance is a Valentine's Day tradition. Hear two guys share their most bizarre but true stories about dating. This show is for adults only.
