Hawthorn Woods’ Ladel on Good Morning America

Our own local celebrity dog, , was on Good Morning America, yesterday.

The Comfort Dogs, based out of Lutheran Church Charities in Addison, have been busy providing love and comfort in Boston, Newtown and wherever needed. 

Yesterday, the Comfort dogs were in the spotlight on Good Morning America’s You’re Not Dreaming. The dogs received treats, and spa gift certificates. Hertz will provide the dogs with a free van for one year to get the dogs where they are needed.

Here’s what Ladel had to say on her Facebook page, Ladel Comfort Dog, after the show: “We were all given these special tags! I've never considered myself a hero, but this made me feel pretty special!”
