Got Purr? Binky Does!

If you’re looking for a handsome cat that knows how to roll with the punches, then I’m you’re guy. After all, not many cats can go from home, to shelter, to vet clinic, to adoption center in a matter of weeks and never lose their cool. Me? I’m Binky, and I take it all in stride. And I do it with a purr.

Some older cats need a bit of time to adjust to life outside the home while they are awaiting adoption. And I can’t blame them, as it can be a bit overwhelming, even for us cool cats. But when Young At Heart Pet Rescue took me in as part of their , I knew I was going to a better place, so I just purred my way through all the changes.

My friends at the rescue call me the “Little Lover” of the cat center. I’m sweet, I’m casually cool, and I love the girls. If any cat gets too rowdy, I turn the other cheek - I’m a lover, not a fighter. That’s the great thing about older cats like me- we’ve learned a thing or two along the way that helps us get along with others. In my 8 years, I’ve definitely learned that fighting is not the answer. My mantra is, “When in doubt, purr!”

I’m a sweet and gentle soul, and get along very well with the other cats at Young At Heart’s adoption center at Best Friends Pet Care. I am a big fan of lap time. Nothing makes me happier than being near you and being loved. I even love to be held. If you watch the video of the Super Senior Save, you can see me just chillin’ while being held by a volunteer.

I’m neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, and microchipped, and my blood test results say I’m a healthy boy. I’ve also tested negative for FIV/FLV. My adoption fee of only $55 is good for just me, or pair of Young at Heart cats (approved adoption application required). I’d love to purr you to sleep at night, and warm your lap while you watch TV. And if you already have a feline friend, I’m the purrfect friend for both of you!
