Community Emergency Response Team Holds Pancake Breakfast
May 19 event benefits CERT serving Ela Township, Kildeer, Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods and Long Grove.
The 6th Annual Community Emergency Response Team Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, May 19, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Lake Zurich Fire Station #1. The station is located at 321 Buesching Road in Lake Zurich. This is an All-You-Can-Eat event at a cost of $5 per person. Children 3 and under eat for free.
For the kids, there will be antique fire truck rides, a mini firefighter challenge, Sparky the dog, Buff the firefighter, fire prevention skits and big fire trucks to explore.
