Clementine Fancies Cuddles and Conversation

I’m Clementine, and I can’t wait to be your darling! I’m an 8-1/2-years-young, long-haired calico who simply adores people. I’ve been known to stand up to greet you the first time you say "hello," and if you talk to me and pet me, I’ll talk back to make sure you know how much I appreciate the affection.

Yes, I enjoy a good conversation. I’ll softly chat you up when I’m looking for attention (which is often). A long-haired lady like myself needs a bit of maintenance, so it’s a good thing I enjoy being brushed. Just like at the beauty parlor, I’ll chatter away while you’re tending to my soft and pretty coat. And if you have a free lap, I may help myself!

Speaking of laps, did I mention that I love them? They’re the best seats in the house!

Wherever you go, I’ll want to follow. That’s because I’m extremely sociable. I like people of all ages, and I’m unflappable when it comes to other cats. Until I find my forever home, I’m staying with a few other friendly felines at the Young At Heart Pet Rescue’s Cat Adoption Center in Prairie View. Quite a few passing canines press their noses against the glass to get a peek at us. (And why wouldn’t they? We are indeed stunning little creatures.) It doesn’t bother me one bit, so my rescue friends think I’d do just fine in a home with a cat-savvy dog.

I really would make perfect family pet. I’m a superstar with my litterbox, and although I have all my claws, you’d never know it. Like all of Young At Heart’s adoptable cats, I’m spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccinations. My bloodwork indicates that I’m as healthy as I am beautiful.

A lot of people tell me I’m the happiest cat they’ve ever met, so come on out to visit me during Best Friends Pet Care’s regular business hours. There’s a good chance I can make you believe in love at first sight.
