Lake Zurich Culver's Celebrates 10 Years

It's been 10 years since  Steve Anichini left a successful 20 year career as a trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and opened the Lake Zurich Culver's.

This week, he and his family are ready to celebrate with their customers.

Culver's is a family business for Anichini, whose son, Dean, manages the restaurant located at 645 N. Rand Road. The family use to travel to Wisconsin for baseball tournaments and were introduced to Culver's. The restaurant reminded Anichini of a different era.

This week's events include:

A car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27 hosted by the Lake Zurich Flames football team, who have also donated a 32” flat screen TV to be raffled off. Later that evening Culver’s will host an antique car show, accompanied by a live DJ, from 4 to  9p.m.

Dollar menu specials throughout the week will include Butter Burgers, Fresh Frozen Custard, root beer floats, lemon ice coolers and much more.
