 Quilt Artist Lecture & Trunk Show: The Northwest Suburban Quilters’ Guild (NSQG) will host Mildred Sorrells, Land of Lincoln Quilters’ Association Quilt Hall of Fame inductee & Paducah winner, at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer on Thursday, August 16. 

 Mildred will share her quilting experience and inspirations from her early beginnings in 1981 to present with her lecture/trunk show “From Past to Present.” Mildred has dozens of publications and has earned numerous awards in her career.  Mildred is a master of hand and machine appliqué, all types of fabric piecing and does her own award winning machine quilting.  

 Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for quilt vendor shopping and socializing.
