Liberty Prairie Conservancy is a not-for-profit business focusing on preserving land health and preservation of specific parts of Lake County. Its mission is to preserve open land around the Ranney residence on Casey Road using other people's contributions, restore natural areas in the Prairie Crossing community and inspire a commitment to fund personal projects through the generosity of Waste Management (who must pay LPC a fee each time a truck tips a load at the Countryside Landfill) and community members who are led to believe that they are serving a greater cause.
