Lake Zurich Memorial Day parade to honor fallen heroes, local veterans

Lake Zurich will be having their Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 28, 2012. The parade will step off at 10:00 AM and will begin at the Lake Zurich American Legion post, 51 Lions Drive and will proceed west on Main St to Old Rand Rd and ending at the Veterans Memorial on Mohawk Trail near the Police station. Participants in the parade include many Veterans, Boy and Girl Scout troops, Fire, Police, and EMS, the LZ High School Band, and many other groups. Please join us in honoring our armed forces that are serving now and our Veterans that have bravely served our country in the past. Following the parade, a ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial to pay respect to past and present veterans.
