Overwhelmed by the problems of the world? Poverty, hunger, homelessness, violence… it can be too much to think about. But there is a new opportunity for you to solve a piece of the puzzle. The Lake County Haven invites you to Adopt-A-Night!
Every night of the year, women and children who have nowhere else to go come to the Lake County Haven seeking food, warmth, safety, and guidance. Now you have the power to provide that for them.
By adopting tonight or one of the other 365 nights available each year, you will provide sanctuary and sustenance for a local family. Due to special underwriting during the first year of this program, you can adopt any night in 2013 for only $239!

More About The Lake County Haven
The Lake County Haven is a social service supporting homeless women and children by providing education, affordable housing and employment services. Designed to assist individuals on their way to independent living, it assists women looking to regain custody of children from foster care, maintain sobriety, reduce debt and learn effective parenting methods. Its properties include eight apartments in Libertyville that are sub-leased to residents at an affordable rate. The average length of stay is nine months, but the program can suit individuals in need of leases between six months and two years in duration.
