New Day, New Time: The traditional community Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, beginning at 7 p.m. at St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church St., Lake Zurich.

The service will be led by Fr. David Ryan of St. Francis de Sales Church, Rev. Mark Sundberg of Peace Lutheran Church, and Rev. Steven Boorsma, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ. Choirs from the three churches will combine to provide special music. 

Everyone is welcome to join in this Community Service of Thanksgiving in Lake Zurich and share in a time of fellowship after the service.

St. Peter United Church of Christ serves the Lake Zurich community and is led by Pastor Steve Boorsma. The church holds two worship services every weekend. In addition to its traditional Sunday service, it alternatively offers a more contemporary and casual service each Saturday. The church runs a Christian education program for congregation members of all ages every Sunday. Its youth programs are geared toward middle school through college-age members. The church organizes and hosts a wide variety of additional outreach, missionary and social events and groups.
