DESCRIPTION:David J. Ventrelle\, Psy.D.\, a licensed clinical psychologis
 t\, will offer advice on responding to young children&rsquo\;s disruptiv
 e behaviors such as temper tantrums and outbursts during a free presenta
 tion titled &ldquo\;Managing the Meltdown&rdquo\; on Thursday\, March 8\
 , from 7 to 8 p.m. at Central Lake YMCA\, 700 Lakeview Parkway\, Vernon 
 Hills.\n&nbsp\;\nThis is the second in a series of free community progra
 ms for those with children in their lives &ndash\; such as parents\, gra
 ndparents and teachers &ndash\; offered jointly by Lake County Family YM
 CA and Rosalind Franklin University Health System (RFUHS).\n&nbsp\;\nDr.
  Ventrelle has been providing individual and family counseling for child
 ren\, adolescents and adults for more than 10 years in a variety of inpa
 tient and outpatient settings. He practices in Vernon Hills at the Behav
 ioral Health Center\, a part of Rosalind Franklin University Health Syst
 em.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nWhile these informative programs are free and open 
 to the public\, advance registration is required to attend. This can be 
 done either by calling the Central Lake Y at (847) 367-6797 or stopping 
 by the Welcome Center there.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nThe final program in the c
 urrent series\, &ldquo\;Practical Strategies for Managing Your Child&rsq
 uo\;s ADHD\,&rdquo\; will be presented on Thursday\, April 12\, again fr
