Women in Networking is hosting its annual Gifts & Goodies Boutique, Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Columbus Center, 365 Surryse Rd., Lake Zurich.

The event includes 18 different vendors, that include larger stores like Coldwater Creek and Brooks Brothers to small, home-based businesses. 

"There will be a nice variety. People can find everything they need in one place," said Petra Croneigh, of Lake Zurich Travel.

"A lot of people are shopping online because it's convenient, but local businesses need the support of the community," Croneigh said. This is a good opportunity to support local businesses and have fun, she said. 

The event wil include free coffee and treats. There will also be a food drive for local food pantries, so attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items.

Vendors at the Gifts & Goodies Boutique include: Avalon Salon & Day Spa, Beijo Bags, Brooks Brothers, Coldwater Creek, Color Glo Leather, Creative Memories, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, d'Vine Wine and Gifts, Gigi Hill Bags, Kathleen Nelson Fine Art, Inc., Lounsberry's, Mary Kay, On Occasion Catering, PartyLite, Premier Design, Tastefully Simple, That's a Wrap Creations, and Tupperware.
