We asked readers to suggest which restaurants in the area have the best breakfast. Our Lake Zurich, Barrington Patch readers must really like breakfast, because we got tons of suggestions.
This week's Chowdown Showdown poll will include five area breakfast restaurants: Koffee Kup in Lake Zurich, Egg Shells in Lake Zurich, Apple Villa in Barrington, Bread Basket in Barrington and Brunch Cafe in Fox River Grove.
Vote for your favorite restaurant in the poll, until Friday at 5 p.m. Be sure to drive some excitement for your pick through social media, like Facebook and Twitter. The top restaurant will be announced Saturday morning, just in time for breakfast.

I've been going to Koffee Kup for over 30 years & my kids have been going for over 20.....it's by far the best breakfast place around!!
