The Palatine, Lake Zurich and Wauconda Railroad had a short, but interesting history. The Ela Historical Society will share photos and stories of the railroad, in recognition of the 100-year-anniversary, during Alpine Days, July 20-22. The history display will be set up outside the Ela Historical Society.
