Food collection at Fitness 19 in Lake Zurich.
Move For Hunger, a nationwide hunger relief organization, has partnered with the Koldon Moving & Storage for the first ever Fitness 19 Food Drive to benefit the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry of Lake Zurich.
From Sept. 14 through Sept. 30, food collection boxes will be conveniently located at two Fitness 19 locations:
- 831 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL and 291 South Rand Road, Lake Zurich
Members and non-members are asked to come together to donate unopened, non-perishable food items throughout the entire month of September. Non-members who donate will receive a free 7-day
Koldon Moving and Storage has generously donated all of the collection boxes and will also deliver the donations directly to the food pantry following the completion of the event.
“Over 1.8 million people in Illinois live on incomes that put them at risk of hunger,” says Move For Hunger’s executive director, Adam Lowy. “This is a great way to bring the community together for a good cause.”
This September Food Drive is brought to you by Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization that works with relocation companies to collect unopened food items from those who are moving and deliver it to local food banks across the country.
