The Lake Zurich High School wrestling team is hosting a very important meet this weekend. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Barrington next weekend, and the team champion will head to the dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports. Lake Zurich will face off against Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Cary-Grove, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Palatine and Stevenson.

The Daily Herald reports Gresh Henderson is the Lake Zurich wrestler to watch in the 132-pound weight class with a record of 32-5.

The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington.
